Both enzymes are required for PAPS (phosphoadenosine-phosphosulfate) synthesis from inorganic sulphate [2]. ATP sulfurylase catalyses thesynthesis of adenosine-phosphosulfate APS from ATP and inorganicsulphate [1].</ns1:prib125u2i>
